Alternate Shot is a high pressure team golf game where both you and your partner pays the price for your bad shot!
Alternate Shot
(Also known as [alternateNames])
HOW TO PLAY
In Alternate Shot, players alternate who hits the opening tee shot on each hole and then alternate who hits each shot until the hole is complete. Multiple scoring methodologies can be utilized with the most common being some variation of Match Play, Stroke Play or Skins.
VARIATIONS & PRESSES
Alternate Shot can be a difficult game with high handicap golfers, so in many casual tournaments, players will be allowed to select the best drive or even best second shot before completing the hole in standard Alternate Shot format.

HOLE BY HOLE
Hole 1 – After the 1 hole, P1 and P2 (Team 1) take a one up lead with a par over the bogey from Team 2. By default GolfWeGo assumes each player on the losing team is down the defined amount, so P3 and P4 would each be down $2. If Team 2 had a third player, he would also be down $2 netting Team 1 a total of $6.
