Modified Stableford rewards players who can score in golf. A birdie and bogey scores better than two pars, so put the hammer down!

Modified Stableford

(Also known as [alternateNames])

HOW TO PLAY

The objective of the game is to accumulate points each hole based on your score relative to par. In a typical Modified Stableford event, players receive:

  • Double Bogey = -3 points
  • Bogey = -1 point
  • Par = 0 points
  • Birdie = 2 points
  • Eagle = 5 points
  • Albatross = 8 points
Unlike a typical Stableford event, points earned are not linear and it is possible to earn negative points.

VARIATIONS & PRESSES

Modified Stableford is a difficult game to press, but it is possible. A standard Stableford can be played if you are not looking to penalize super high scores or Quota can be played as a similar alternative.
