A Scramble is a favorite for big corporate tournaments, fundraisers, or large groups looking to score low.

Scramble

(Also known as [alternateNames])

HOW TO PLAY

In a Scramble, all players on a team hit from the same spot and only the best shot is selected as the spot of the next shot. This continues for all shots during the round. You can play for a set dollar amount per stroke, or place a wager that is paid to the winner of the round.

VARIATIONS & PRESSES

Some of the most common variations in golf for a Scramble include, Schamble where teams select the best drive and play their individual ball for the remainder of the hole and Gruesome where all players tee off and the hole is played out from the spot of the worst drive. Additionally, often players will add requirements that every team member must contribute a drive during the round or that no player can contribute two consecutive shots on a hole (known as a Florida Scramble).
