HOW TO PLAY
Points can be earned for various bad shots such as hitting the ball out of bounds, in the sand, in the water, or other frustrating plays such as a 3-putt. Each time any of the agreed upon Trouble shots occurs, a player earns a point; however, unlike other dot games, in trouble point are bad.
VARIATIONS & PRESSES
Most variations in Trouble occur in what counts as a point. Groups can also play where some Trouble shots are worth more than others.

Hole 1 – P1 knocks it in the sand trap and P4 hits one in the water on the first hole to take the first two points of the match. After hole 1, they would each be down $4 in a $2 per point match ($2 to each P2 and P3).
